We’re proud to share that Dr. Nandita Mitra, Professor of Biostatistics, has been invited by Provost John Jackson to serve on Penn’s Academic Planning and Budget Committee–one of the University’s most influential advisory groups.
The purpose of the Committee is to bring together academic planning and financial planning so that informed advice might be provided to the administration on both short-term and long-range resource allocation.
Thorough involvement in the development of the annual budget shall provide the Committee opportunities to develop and explore modes of fulfilling the University’s academic mission. Nandita looks forward to working with the Provost on this important mission.
