LauraEllen Ashcraft, PhD, MSW, along with her collaborators, recently published new research in BMJ Open Quality.
Quality improvement and implementation science evaluations are inherently complex, particularly when undertaken by interdisciplinary teams working remotely. In the context of a large, multi-center hybrid type III trial, the research team developed a seven-step process to guide rigorous evaluation plan development. This structured approach enhanced methodological rigor, improved coordination among geographically distributed collaborators, and offers a replicable framework for future interdisciplinary evaluation efforts.
