Can you tell us about your current research and what inspired you to pursue this area?
I just joined the Center for Health Innovations in Reproductive and Perinatal Population Research (CHIRP) as their Research Project Manager! I previously worked for New York University and received my MPH from CUNY in NYC and worked for teams studying health outcomes in marginalized populations. As a new mom, I am so excited to work with PIs focused on reproductive and perinatal health.
What’s your most used productivity hack?
I work most efficiently in ‘blocks’; setting aside specific hours for tasks and sticking to the schedule!
What do you find most rewarding about working in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics?
I’m still new, but I am impressed by the collaborative spirit of the teams I’ve been exposed to. It’s wonderful to be in a meeting with other project managers, pre-doctoral students, post-doctoral students and PIs who have years of expertise all working towards a common goal.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
This year I was re-introduced to pottery and have really enjoyed spending my downtime throwing!
