DBEI Research Day 2026 brings together faculty, trainees, and collaborators across the Perelman School of Medicine for a full day focused on Advancing Biomedical Research Through Data-Driven Intelligence. The event will highlight how data science, AI, and technological innovation are transforming biomedical discovery, clinical research, and population health.
The program includes a distinguished keynote lecture, junior faculty spotlight talks, and thematic sessions on biostatistics, epidemiology, informatics, AI-enabled pathology, spatial omics, and research infrastructure. Research Day also recognizes DBEI faculty excellence and offers opportunities for discussion, networking, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Research Day is open to the DBEI community and PSOM/Penn affiliates at no cost. Registration is required to attend.
Trainees are strongly encouraged to present posters showcasing their ongoing research, fostering visibility, feedback, and engagement across the department.
Poster submissions are now open. To receive abstract submission instructions, please register for DBEI Research Day and select “Post Doc/Trainee Poster Presenter” as your registration type.
