Daniel Xu, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. He is affiliated with the Center for Causal Inference (CCI) and the Center for Health Innovations in Reproductive and Perinatal Population Research (CHIRP) and is mentored by Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen, Enrique Schisterman, and Ellen Caniglia. His research broadly focuses on causal inference, with particular interests in proximal methods, semi-supervised learning, mediation analysis, and transfer learning.
