We are pleased to announce that Dr. LauraEllen Ashcraft, PhD, MSW, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania, has been appointed Co-Director of AMETHIST@Penn. Dr. Ashcraft has been an integral member of the AMETHIST@Penn team since the since the start of the project and brings extensive expertise as an implementation science methodologist to this leadership role.
AMETHIST@Penn is an implementation science hub supporting the NIH IMPROVE initiative, providing training, resources, and expert guidance to advance equitable maternal health research and practice. As Co-Director, Dr. Ashcraft is excited to help lead the team and continue strengthening efforts to translate research into meaningful improvements in maternal health outcomes.
